Montessori Foundation Ghana (MoFoG) is a non-profit organization of Montessori practitioners across the country. We support schools, guides, and families while liaising with government institutions to ensure Montessori thrives within Ghana’s educational system.

MoFoG conducts and monitors Montessori teacher qualification examinations to ensure that practitioners meet both local and international Montessori standards.

Why We Exist

Montessori education in Ghana has grown rapidly, yet challenges remain in maintaining quality, ensuring authenticity, and integrating Montessori principles with the national curriculum. MoFoG was founded to bridge this gap, to unify Montessori practitioners, protect the integrity of the method, and help schools meet both global Montessori standards and local educational needs.
